Join us for our 3rd annual "Ride 4 Resilience and Recovery” bike ride on the scenic Wabash Trace on Saturday, June 17th!
This year, we’re excited to offer more flexibility than ever before: riders can start and stop at any of our six trailheads along the route, including Council Bluffs, Mineola, Silver City, Imogene, Malvern, and Shenandoah.
The Wabash Trace, part of a converted railroad right-of-way, provides some shade cover and is relatively flat, making this a great trail for all skill levels.
As if the beautiful scenery and exercise weren't enough, we're also thrilled to announce a new addition to our program: The Pancake Man! Join us at the Council Bluffs Iowa West Foundation Trailhead Park from 7:00am - 10:00am and indulge in some delicious pancakes, all for a free-will donation.
Riders may start the ride anytime between 7:00am - 10:00am.
For those who are curious about the mileage between each town, we've got you covered:
- Council Bluffs to Mineola: 9.6 miles
- Mineola to Silver City: 4.3 miles
- Silver City to Malvern: 8 miles
- Malvern to Imogene: 13.6 miles
- Imogene to Shenandoah: 8.9 miles
Don't miss out on this fun and unique opportunity to support resilience and recovery while enjoying the great outdoors!
